If you look at a sculpture of Obi Wan Kenobi, it'll most likely have been made by artist Lawrence Noble. Lawrence has worked on many Star Wars pieces but his work expands beyond that and over many years. He's the owner on Noble Studios which has worked on many advertising pieces for movies including "The Empire Strikes Back", "Flash Gordon", and "Time After Time". He's designed Olympic gold medals, created bronze statues for memorials, and has been commissioned to produce drawings for a television mini-series. His work is definitely not something to miss so check it out.

Tim Burton
I was so excited when I heard there was a Tim Burton exhibit in New York, but unfortunetly I don't live in New York. However I just learned that the exhibit will be coming to the LACMA this year. So I may have my chance to see it yet. I know that a lot of people don't care for Tim Burton or his work as an artist or a director but as you can see I'm not one of them. I find his work to be full of such child like qualities that haunt us as adults and to me that is very appealing. I've included a link to the LACMA and to his official site which I think everyone should check out. You can move around the galleries by controlling one of Tim's most beloved characters, Stain Boy.

I came across this through Facebook. I believe is is fan art on coldplay's website but a lot of the art work is really good and I suggest you check it out. It's a pretty cool online gallery.

Star Wars In Art
So while I was looking for inspiration for a painting I came across some really cool Star Wars art. I found that some of the most interesting was those based on famous works of art. So I really just wanted to share these with you and I'll probably add more to this later as I find them. But I hope you enjoy. :)

This artist I don't know to much about. It's been hard for me to find a lot of information about her but I think her sculptures are really interesting. They weird me out but I can't stop looking at her stuff. So check her out. Because I said so.

All of the photos feature celebrities as some of their favorite Disney characters and I absolutely love it.
